You are on a demo installation. This document is the same one the real installation publishes, running on fictional data with no real patients: it does not apply here, and creates no obligation.
By using Human Rounds you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Human Rounds is a public good app, free and non-profit, to view the services of the Ojo Manso Regional Hospital and the CAPS and request appointments with less hassle. It is a prototype under development, designed together with the Secretariat of Health of Ojo Manso.
Human Rounds is not an emergency service. In the event of a medical emergency, call 107 or go to the ER of the Ojo Manso Regional Hospital. Do not use the app for situations that require immediate attention.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always work, that it will be error-free, or that the schedules and service information are accurate or up to date.
Schedules and care modalities may change. Always confirm with the health center before showing up.
Sending a request from the app does not guarantee an appointment. The hospital reviews each request and its referral order, and confirms (or not) the appointment according to its availability and criteria. Confirmation is provided by the health center, not the app.
Human Rounds uses artificial intelligence for three things: reading the referral order you upload, responding in the chat, and summarizing your medical history for the professional who will treat you.
This processing does not occur at the hospital: it runs on servers of external providers, which may be outside of Argentina. Before sending text, we make a reasonable effort to remove data that identifies you; the image of the order, however, travels as is. This is explained in detail in the privacy policy.
Artificial intelligence does not diagnose or decide. What it returns is a preliminary reading that is always reviewed by a person from the health team. It can make mistakes: do not make a medical decision based on what the app says.
You use Human Rounds under your sole responsibility and risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not accept responsibility for anything arising from the use (or inability to use) the app, including loss or unauthorized access to data, or incorrectly displayed, expired, or unconfirmed appointments.
Use Human Rounds with your own data and to manage your own appointments (or those of a person in your care). Do not attempt to breach, overload, or abuse the service.
As it is a project under development, we may modify, suspend, or terminate Human Rounds at any time and without notice, without this generating any liability.
These terms govern the Human Rounds installation. They do not apply to Human Rounds demonstration installations, which operate with fictitious data, do not treat real patients, and exist only to show how the system works.
